Celtic are persisting with their pursuit for Manchester City attacker Patrick Roberts.

Roberts enjoyed a very productive 18 month spell at Celtic on loan from Manchester City and it has come as no surprise that the Hoops are planning to sign the 20-year-old once again this summer.

However, it seemed like Celtic could potentially miss out on the signing of Roberts as the likes of Southampton, Huddersfield as well as Nice were also interested in the youngster.

As reported by the Daily Mail though, Celtic have not given up on their pursuit of Roberts and the ex-Fulham man is now set to return to Parkhead for another season long loan deal.
