Celtic boss Neil Lennon says he is hoping the club are successful in their pursuit of striker Adimo Balde.
The 22-year old Portugal youth international is keen to take the next step up from VitoriaGuimaraes and although the Hoops are in a strong position to sign him, Lennon is aware that there is plenty of other interest in his services.
"Balde is a player we have scouted and looks the type we would like, but whether we can get a deal done or not, I don't know," he said.
"He is a big striker and has the physical attributes we are looking for, but he is interesting other clubs as well."
