Celtic have added incentive for Brisbane Roar clash
When Celtic come to Australia they will be out to redeem themselves for a failed Scottish Premier League campaign. The Hoops conceded this season's title to rivals Rangers on the last day of the season and will now have to compete in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers to be a part of the greatest tournament in club football next season whilst Rangers get a clear path.
The fact that the famous club will need to be at peak powers in late July for these qualifiers means that the match against Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on July 12 takes on a new incentive.
Double that with the resignation of manager Gordon Strachan and the Glasgow powerhouse will be coming down under with some points to prove which should make for an entertaining and high-quality event.
