Neil Lennon has been rewarded with a new contract to remain as manager of Celtic.
The 39-year old former Hoops midfielder has signed a one-year rolling contract, keeping him at Parkhead for at least the upcoming season.
Fans and players were urging the Celtic board to offer the Irishman a fresh deal and reports suggest that he flew in from Portugal last night to complete the paperwork.
Lennon, who threatened to quit after enduring a tough season which involved death threats, will now receive an increased wage and it is likely that his backroom staff of John Mjallby, Alan Thompson and Garry Parker will follow suit.
