Kris Commons is confident that Celtic are a team capable of competing in this seasons Champions League competition.
The Hoops take on Swedish club Helsingborgs in a two-legged play-off to gain a spot in the group stage proper of Europe's premier club competition and Commons, who has dreamt of being involved in the prestigious league, feels that the Glaswegians can pull it off.
"It's the entrance of the teams, the music of Zadok The Priest and the rippling of the UEFA banner in the centre circle before the game," he said.
"It was a weird thing when you were a kid. You wanted to be part of the pre-match ritual as much as you wanted to play in the games and score goals.
"I've wanted to be a part of the Champions League since I was a 15-year-old on the groundstaff at Stoke City.
"I grew up supporting Manchester United and when they were dominant in the Champions League I knew that was the competition I wanted to play in but I never thought I'd get the opportunity.
"Now I have that chance and I think Celtic have a team good enough to get us there."
Celtic are away to Helsingborgs in the first leg on August 21 before the return bout at Parkhead on the 28th.
