Celtic go for LA Galaxy captain Donovan

Celtic are ready to move for LA Galaxy striker Landon Donovan.
Sources close to both clubs have told tribalfootball.com that the US international captain is in the sights of Hoops boss Tony Mowbray.
Donovan has already expressed hopes of returning to Europe in January after a spell at Bayern Munich last season. While he struggled for minutes in Germany, Donovan can expect to see more action at Celtic Park.
A loan deal would suit Celtic and Galaxy, though Donovan hasn't ruled out a permanent move from MLS at the end of the season.
Donovan will be with Galaxy later this month in Germany for their friendly against Kaiserslautern, news which tribalfootball.com first brought to you last month.
