Chelsea face a battle to keep hold of young fullback Fankaty Dabo.

The Sun says Dabo has emerged as a shock target for Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.

The new Hoops chief has been in touch with his old employers about the chance of taking the talented England Under-20 defender on loan for the season.

Dabo, 20, has yet to make the breakthrough at Stamford Bridge but is seen as a possible first-team starter down the line.

He could be sent out for games this season and Rodgers hopes the chance to play in Europe will swing the deal his way.
