Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk says that the club is forced to play different kind of football in domestic and continental competitions.
Celtic was unable to reach the Champions League group stage last season, but went on to win the Scottish Premiership for the fourth straight season
The Dutchman said of the Hoops' need to play differently at home and abroad: "In the league, we play with more risk and have our full-backs going forward.
"We want to play attractive football for the fans.
"In Europe we need to play differently as there are other things going to be asked for from the back four and the midfielders in front of us.
"At the beginning of last season, we didn't do it too well but now we talk a lot about it.
"Hopefully we can show that on Wednesday as well."
Celtic will play Azerbaijani side Qarabag in the second leg of their third qualifying round showdown on Wednesday after winning the first leg 1-0 in Glasgow last week.
