It has been reported that Celtic will no longer pursue SK Brann striker Erik Huseklepp. The Scottish giants have been keen on the Norwegian for a few weeks now but after having trouble negotiating a transfer fee, have pulled out of the race for his services.

Huseklepp is determined to join the Bhoys but manager Neil Lennon has pulled any further interest, scuppering his hopes of landing at Parkhead.

The 26-year old Norway international has been impressive in recent season in the Norwegian Tippeligaen but chances are he will remain there, at least for the time being.
