Celtic eager to get Rogic playing regularly

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is open to the idea of sending Tom Rogic out on loan this month.

The 21-year old Australian midfielder, who has featured in just three Scottish Premier League games this season, is being linked with a temporary move to J.League club Vegalta Sendai which is managed by his former Central Coast Mariners boss Graham Arnold.

His manager in Glasgow feels a loan is something that Rogic could benefit from especially seeing as the World Cup is approaching this year - a tournament the youngster could figure in if he gains regular playing time in the next few months.

"There might be loan options there and if it's right we'll look at it," Lennon said.

"Tom Rogic obviously has the World Cup and we have to be mindful of that but for us we need to get him playing football."
