Thomas Rogne is believed to be on the verge of joining Wigan Athletic.
The 22-year old Norwegian centre-half is set to leave Scottish champions Celtic this summer which has alerted Latics boss Owen Coyle.
The former Bolton manager has replaced Roberto Martinez at the DW Stadium and is keen to bring in Rogne who has fallen down the pecking order at Celtic.
