Celtic defender Adam Matthews is happy for Joe Ledley over his success at Crystal Palace.
Ledley left Celtic in January and has helped Palace secure Premier League safety.
"Joe has done really well," he told the Daily Mail. "Obviously, everyone wanted him to stay, but he had to go in the end.
"We are just glad he is doing well and will be back in the Premiership again next season, which is brilliant for him.
"I don't think many people saw that coming, but the Palace manager bought well in January with the likes of Joe and Scott Dann.
"He bought players who know how to play at that level."
