Celtic defender Jason Marr has revealed he rejected a move to Tottenham last summer.
Marr said: "Celtic didn't come to me with an offer at the end of last season - they expected me just to start pre-season then talk about it again.
"In the meantime other clubs were coming in for me.
"Spurs invited me to White Hart Lane and I was shown about the place by Clive Allen and (Damien) Comolli.
"That's when Celtic came back and offered me a deal.
"Spurs had spotted me at the Under-19 Youth Cup Final against Rangers and it was tempting because they're a big club. But it's harder to break in at Tottenham than Celtic."
