Celtic full-back Andreas Hinkel would like a return to the Bundesliga at some point in his career. While the 27-yeard-old concedes playing in Germany's top-flight is of interest, he will not simply look to jump ship.

Hinkel is happy and settled in Glasgow and insists the talk of Hertha Berlin monitoring his services is just speculation.

"I would be lying if I said that I am no longer interested in playing in the Bundesliga," he is quoted in the Daily Record.

"My goal is to play again in Germany but not at any price. I would only move back if everything was right for me.

"Allegedly a scout from Hertha watched me against Rangers. But I've only read that and no-one from that club has spoken to me.

"They would not have the power to pull me and my family away from Scotland. We feel comfortable here."
