Celtic have secured the services of attacking midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim on a three-and-a-half-year deal.

The 20-year old Nigerian has joined the Hoops after impressing on a recent trial following his time with Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven which ended in December.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon was delighted to welcome the Nigeria youth international to Parkhead.

"We have been very impressed by Rabiu. In my view he is a highly talented and exciting young player and someone who will be a tremendous addition to our squad," he told the club's official website.

"He is a playmaker, well balanced and a very intelligent footballer. We are really looking forward to him joining us."
