Levski Sofia striker Garra Dembele has emerged as a target for Scottish giants Celtic. The agent of the 24-year old Frenchman has confirmed that the Bhoys have enquired about the former Auxerre youth player, who has netted 16 goals in 12 appearances in Bulgaria this season, but said a decision did not have to be made just yet.

"Yes, it is true, Celtic is one of the clubs to have tabled an offer for him," Dembele's representative Christian Emile told skysports.com.

"Celtic is a top club and of course it is an appealing destination for Garra. However, as I said before we are in discussions with other interested teams in England and there is no hurry to make a decision.

"The player will consider all his options carefully and we will decide on the most suitable proposal for him and Levski Sofia.

"For now, Garra is focused only on working hard with the team in their training camp preparations before the season recommences."
