Former Sunderland frontman James McFadden is reportedly a target for SPL champions Celtic, reports the Sunderland Echo. McFadden netted five goals in 13 appearances for boyhood club Motherwell last season but have been unable to tie the 30 year old down to a new contract.
This has alerted Celtic to his availability on a free transfer.
