Celtic chief Peter Lawwell is a target for Arsenal.
The Guardian says Arsenal are set to choose between Lawwell, the Celtic chief executive, and Paul Donovan, who holds a similar position for a major part of Vodafone, as their new chief executive.
Lawwell's work at Celtic, where he has dramatically improved revenues at the Scottish champions, is much admired by the Arsenal board, and his excellent contacts in European football, including a close relationship with Uefa general secretary and fellow Scot David Taylor, is impressive.
