Celtic are chasing Crystal Palace midfielder Jordan Mutch.

The Daily Mail says Celtic are plotting a £3.5million January move for Mutch.

The 24-year-old Englishman has mustered just three appearances for the Premier League club this season.

But, contrary to reports, the Parkhead side will not be dragged into a bidding war with Championship side Aston Villa for the box-to-box midfielder.

Linked with both clubs, senior sources at the Birmingham club insist Mutch does not feature on their radar.
