Celtic reserve coach Willie McStay admits they're being careful with which young players should be loaned next season - and where.
"It's common sense that, if you are a centre-back, you play with a team where you are under pressure to develop and read the game.
"If there is an experienced player with him, even better, so they learn on the pitch as well as from the coaching.
"If it's a striker, we don't want them to be with a club where it is backs-to-the-wall.
"We want them to be in a situation where they can work on their movement and link play and be in a situation where chances come their way.
"Importantly, we must look at who comes into the club at first-team level. Who comes in this year will determine who goes out next year."
