Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has explained why he chose to bring forward his deal for Middlesbrough striker Ben Hutchison.
Strachan explained he'd brought in Hutchinson, who had originally signed a pre-contract, because he didn't want the kid to feel awkward about staying at Boro when he was committed to moving north in the summer.
He said: "Sometimes it can be uncomfortable, especially for a younger player, so I thought it would be better to bring him in now."
