Celtic manager Neil Lennon was left to rue what might have been as his side were beaten 1-0 by Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Bhoys had some good chances in the second half with both James Forrest and Charlie Mulgrew coming close but in the end could not deny Cesc Fabregas heading home the winner with just under 15 minutes left.
Lennon felt perhaps his Celtic side may have scored even after skipper Scott Brown was controversially sent off before the hour-mark.
"We had two fantastic chances, Victor Valdes' save (from Forrest) was amazing and Charlie Mulgrew should score (with a header)," said Lennon.
"It was a great opportunity and then two minutes later Cesc scored the winner so the game hinged on those five minutes.
"We needed our keeper (Fraser Forster) to make great saves at the end but that was almost academic.
"At 11 versus 11 I was really happy, especially in that spell after half-time. You are talking about the best club team in the world and they wear you down."
