Brendan Rodgers has poured cold water on claims that Celtic are set to sign two Liverpool players.
It is believed that the Glasgow giants are closing in on deals for Joe Gomez and Andre Wisdom but the former Reds boss insists nothing is currently in the pipelines at Parkhead.
"There is a lot of great work going on behind the scenes, in terms of one or two who could come in," he said.
"At the moment, it is about taking our time to assess the current squad.
"They have earned their right for me to have a look but there are one or two areas that we can improve.
"There is ongoing work and as soon as we sign them, fans will be aware."
19-year-old defender Gomez joined Liverpool from Charlton Athletic last summer but missed most of his debut season at Anfield with a serious knee injury while 23-year-old Wisdom spent last term on loan with Norwich City and could be surplus to requirements under Jurgen Klopp.
