Celtic boss Rodgers added to Chelsea shortlist

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is under consideration at Chelsea to replace Antonio Conte.

The Sunday Express says Rodgers, who is looking to win back-to-back trebles with the Hoops, worked under Jose Mourinho as head youth coach of the Chelsea academy between 2004 and 2006 before becoming manager of the club's reserves.

Conte is almost certain to leave this summer after two seasons in charge, with the Blues set to miss out on Champions League football next year. And Rodgers is in the frame to take over at Stamford Bridge.

Luis Enrique, the former Barcelona coach currently out of a job, is favourite to take the helm at Stamford Bridge this summer, with Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri another candidate to succeed Conte.

The other manager on the shortlist is Juve's Massimiliano Allegri.
