Celtic boss Neil Lennon admits he's waiting for a response from Arsenal defender Sol Campbell.
The off contract Gunners veteran has also spoken to Sunderland, West Ham United and Germany's St Pauli.
"We still need competition there," said Lennon.
"There is nothing new on Sol."
