Celtic manager Neil Lennon has heaped praise on Paul Lambert for the work he has done at Norwich City over the past few seasons.
The former Hoops midfielder comfortably kept the Canaries up in the Premier League this term following double promotion over the two seasons prior and his old teammate has spoken highly of the job he has performed at Carrow Road adding that it is normal for him to be linked with bigger clubs.
"Paul was a great team-mate and a great player, who knows the game very, very well. He has done an absolutely brilliant job at Norwich.
"Paul has already proved he has got what it takes and it does not surprise me there is a lot of speculation surrounding him - the more successful you are, the more the big clubs will want to take you.
"I don't want to prise him away from Norwich, or say words to that effect, but it is the way of the world, it is a natural progression, but I think he is pretty happy there.""He was always a leader, and the Norwich players have responded magnificently to what he has asked them to do, and they have just gone from strength to strength," Lennon told reporters.
