Celtic fear losing midfielder Scott Brown in January.

Neil Lennon fears clubs in England will move for the Celtic captain Brown as an impasse over a contract extension for the midfielder continues.

Brown has been linked with Newcastle United and Aston Villa.

Asked if he is concerned that English clubs could be alerted to Brown's position, Lennon replied: "I think they'll already know. I'm sure the agents will have made other clubs aware of it. We'll get a chance to speak to Scott when we have time and we'll see where we are. Then we'll have a clearer picture."
