Celtic manager Neil Lennon has opened the door for a summer move for Richard Dunne.
The Republic of Ireland centre-half is set to leave Aston Villa this offseason after failing to play for the club last term because of injury.
But with the 33-year old making his return via the Irish national team last weekend, Lennon could give him the chance to continue his club career with the Scottish champions.
"Richard is a player I've always known and always liked. He has not played for a long time and I don't know what kind of condition he is in," he said.
"The way we have been signing players over the years, he would fall out of that category.
"But we have signed players like Daniel Majstorovic and it is good to have one or two experienced players in."
