Celtic manager Neil Lennon believes Virgil van Dijk is good enough to gain a call-up to the Holland national team.
The 22-year old centre-back has in fine form for the Hoops since his summer move from FC Groningen and Lennon feels those performances will make Oranje boss Louis van Gaal sit up and take notice.
"It's inevitable, if he keeps going and progressing the way he is, that he'll become a Dutch international," Lennon told the Daily Star.
"He makes it look easy. People seem to think he has a laid-back attitude, but his work ethic is very high and he's a kid who wants to get better.
"I'd like to think Virgil would get a chance with his country."
