Celtic are battling Premier League clubs for Manchester City attacker Craig Bellamy.
The People says Bellamy, 31, is a wanted man since returning to Manchester City after a season-long loan at Cardiff.
The likes of Everton, Bolton Wanderers and Stoke City are among those interested - but Bhoys boss Neil Lennon will be given the cash backing to join the race.
Bellamy enjoyed his half-season in the SPL in 2005 when he was exiled from Newcastle and is also a fan of former team-mate Lennon.
Bellamy is on £90,000-a-week at Eastlands, so the move would have to be heavily sponsored by City, who did the same for Cardiff, but are reluctant to do so again.
