Celtic have approached AS Roma for goalkeeper Gianluca Curci.
Curci spent last season on-loan at Sampdoria and had attracted interest from Chievo Verona.
However, Celtic have now made a move for the shot-stopper and are eager to open formal negotiations with Roma.
Curci is available from the Giallorossi after their capture of Ajax No1 Maarten Stekelenburg.
