Celtic are ahead of Wolves in the race for Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper.

The Daily Mail says Celtic have emerged as favourites to sign Scunthorpe striker Hooper in a £1.5m deal.

Neil Lennon, Celtic's stand-in manager, watched Hooper, 22, for the second time in successive home games in Scunthorpe's 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Wolves are also keen on Hooper.
