Celta Vigo midfielder Borja Oubina has put the dampers on a move to Tottenham by stating that he is happy at his hometown club.
"It is true that Tottenham called my agent to tell him they wanted me, and offered the option of going on trial in late June or July," Oubina told Faro de Vigo.
"But from the outset I thought it was a surreal idea. My current contract is with Celta and I have nothing to prove to anybody.
"It flatters me that they think about me and have taken into account my situation and I understand that they want to see me before (buying), but I do not know that they can assess me because in five or ten days too many conclusions cannot be made."
