Real Madrid's title challenge is over after defeat to Celta Vigo.
Celta ended any lingering hopes Real Madrid had of Primera Division glory by claiming a 2-0 victory over Carlo Ancelotti's men at Estadio Balaidos.
Celta claimed their third win on the bounce, Brazilian forward Charles' capitalising on two errors from Real to bag a brace and leave the visitors five points behind leaders Atletico with just one match remaining.
"We gifted them with two goals. Then we tried to score and control the play. We have a lot of players missing, including some very important ones, so this was not an easy game to prepare for. We are disappointed because we cannot win the league. It is the first competition we have lost and we cannot be happy about it," said Ancelotti.
