Massimo Cellino enters a hostile atmosphere at Leeds United.
The Daily Star says Cellino will step-up his bid to buy the troubled club this week after winning an appeal against the Football League's decision to ban him from completing a takeover at Elland Road.
Brian McDermott, who is facing the sack once Cellino takes charge, has still not been paid fully along with his squad.
A senior club source told the Daily Star: "Massimo Cellino might have won his appeal and will come to Leeds this week looking to rubber stamp his take-over.
"But that won't be the end of it. There is more trouble ahead. The manager will be sacked, the players haven't been paid and the worst thing is not one member of the squad or the staff wants Massimo in charge.
"He has slagged them off in public and discussed their salaries. They just don't trust him and the future of Leeds is still far from being secure."
