West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green is a shock target for Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti. The Daily Express says Cech's career at Chelsea is looking increasingly under threat after it was revealed that Ancelotti could make a bid for West Ham's Green in the January transfer window.
Ancelotti's rearguard has been breached 10 times in four games in all competitions, with Everton the latest to take advantage of more sloppy play by Cech, Ricardo Carvalho, John Terry and company in Saturday's 3-3 draw.
Cech, who moved from Rennes in 2004 for £7 million, also took full responsibility for the 2-1 defeat against Manchester City the previous week before being rested by Ancelotti against Apoel Nicosia in their final Champions League group game.
Defenders have lost faith in Cech's ability to come and dominate in the penalty area and Chelsea are looking a different proposal to the one that beat Arsenal at the Emirates so convincingly last month.
