Cech positive about Chelsea's chances of taking down Barcelona

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has talked up his side's chances of beating Barcelona in the upcoming Champions League semi-finals.

The Blues made it through to the final four of Europe's premier club competition with a 3-1 aggregate win over Benfica, courtesy of last night's 2-1 home victory, and will now meet the world's greatest team for a chance to make the final.

With many critics quickly tipping Barcelona to qualify, Cech is giving the West Londoners every chance of causing an upset.

"You dream that you win the Champions League once in your life," he told his own official website.

"We just progressed through to the next round and still have a chance to fight for the trophy.

"Now we are facing the world's best football club but it was almost a certainty that if we got far we would probably play against them. You cannot look to the left or to the right at this stage.

"Anything is possible in football and if you look back at our previous meetings you can see that almost all the matches were tight and decided by details.

"We know we are not favourites but we are not going to give up."
