Petr Cech has hailed the character inside the Chelsea squad after winning the FA Cup.

"I love playing in the FA Cup so I am delighted to have won it," exclaimed Cech to chelseafc.com, "and altogether this season has been hugely positive in many ways.

"We showed huge character after the change of the manager and the whole Champions League campaign has been absolutely amazing as well.

"We beat Juventus, we beat Liverpool and we never lost to Barcelona, although it was unfortunate not to go to Rome, and now we have won the FA Cup, so the second stage of the season has been very positive."
