Cech: Chelsea will keep fighting for title

Petr Cech is adamant Chelsea can still win the title.

The Blues trail Premier League leaders Manchester United by four points and have played a game more than the champions.

But Cech, who kept a clean sheet as Guus Hiddink's men won 2-0 at Newcastle on Saturday, refuses to throw in the towel.

He said: "As long as there is any sort of a mathematical chance, we will fight to win it."

Cech, 26, also believes the victory at St James' Park is the perfect preparation for Wednesday's Champions League showdown with Liverpool.

The keeper added: "It is always good to win a game ahead of such an important clash.

"We have managed to do so and that is why we are going into the match in good mood."
