Cech admits Chelsea need to find consistency

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech admits they need to find greater consistency.

Chelsea failed to secure a place in the Capital One Cup Final after managing a 0-0 draw at Swansea last night, crashing out 2-0 on aggregate.

The club have already failed to win the Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and the Champions League, while they are 11 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United.

Cech claims Chelsea only have themselves to blame and told the London Evening Standard: "We want to do better than this, that's clear.

"We had a good start to the season but then there was the Super Cup where we didn't turn up, which was a huge surprise, and then everything was going downhill.

"It ended up with a change of manager and then we picked up again. It looked like we were back on course but we have had another blip. It's clear we need to be more consistent.

"We dropped points in the League where nobody expected it and this has been frustrating because in big games we seem to do well."
