Cazorla insists: I'm happy while I have confidence of Arsenal boss

Arsenal star Santi Cazorla has reiterated the fact that he is perfectly happy at the Emirates Stadium.

Cazorla has arguably been one of the best players for Arsenal this season but despite his wonderful form, there has been a lot of speculation that the 31-year-old could potentially leave North London as he has not been handed a contract extension as of yet.

A number of clubs are believed to have expressed their interest in signing Cazorla in recent times but the Spanish international has gone on played down talks of his departure from Arsenal by insisting that he is perfectly happy at North London.

He told IBTimes.co.uk: "I'm happy because I'm playing regularly.

"If I didn't play I would tell you that I would consider leaving, but I'm having minutes and I have the confidence of the manager. That's what every player wants.

"Since the very first day at this club I have had the affection of the fans, and that is amazing. I have only words of gratitude to the fans of Arsenal for how they've treated me from day one, and I try to repay them by giving my best on the pitch."
