Cazarine double hands Sydney FC first trio of points for the season

Brazilian striker Bruno Cazarine's show in yesterday's Sydney FC v Perth Glory clash proved to be a match-winning performance.

The 27-year old netted twice for the Sky Blues who managed to record their first win of the 11-week old season with a 3-0 result over the hapless Western Australians.

A perfectly weighted header in the 25th minute from a Sung-Hwan Byun free-kick was followed up with a crafty intercept in midfield which was completed with a neat finish under Glory keeper Aleks Vrteski to wrap up proceedings with eight minutes remaining.

Cazarine has looked comfortable since joining Sydney and to be as consistent as he has in a team that has experienced little joy is testament to his ability.

His two-goal game forced him into tribalfootball.com'sA-League Team of the Week for the week ending October 24.
