The agent of Fernando Cavenaghi has opened the door to a move to Tottenham for the Bordeaux striker.

"Fernando is sorry for this situation and does not understand the choices of (coach Laurent) Blanc. There has been an offer from Tottenham, but nothing concrete," said the Argentine's agent, Rodrigo Villarino.

"I think that the time has come to find a solution that satisfies both the club and my client."
