Napoli have slapped £45 million price-tag on Manchester City target Edinson Cavani.
The Daily Mail says the Uruguay international's representatives were at Eastlands on Tuesday night as they saw City clinch a Champions League qualifying spot.
And they were looking to test the water over City's interest in Cavani, who has scored 26 goals in Serie A this season. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been linked with 24-year-old Cavani - bought from Palermo for £15m last summer - but the price tag is likely to rule out Harry Redknapp.
City are weighing up their alternatives with increasing uncertainty over Carlos Tevez's future while Emmanuel Adebayor and Jo look likely to be offloaded.
