Cavani feeling better at Palermo

Edinson Cavani is feeling more settled at Palermo.

Cavani has started to emerge as one of the best young strikers in Italy, scoring six goals in 17 starting appearances so far this season.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cavani said: "I feel that I have certainties that I didn't have before. I am more secure when I have the ball at my feet, when I go and shoot.

"I believe that I have replied with personality together with my team-mates to Miccoli's absence. I don't feel like a leader, but, yes, I am more conscious of being one.

"We didn't play a great game against Atalanta, but we showed character."

Reflecting on his development as a player, Cavani revealed: "From Guidolin to Rossi passing through Ballardini I have learnt something from everyone.

"My team-mates have always been close to me. Rossi, in particular, works a lot on movement up front and I like this about him. I have always been well here. I showed my professionalism even in difficult moments. I hear the whistles every now and again, but I want to show my affection for the people with facts."
