Cavani fed-up with Real Madrid dithering, pushes for Chelsea move

Chelsea are getting a free run at Napoli striker Edinson Cavani this week. A frustrated Cavani is ready to now push for a move to Stamford Bridge after losing patience with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

AS says Cavani favoured a move to Real, but his agent has only heard from intermediaries and not from any club official. Even with Carlo Ancelotti now in place, Real have kept Cavani hanging and the Uruguayan is fed-up with the delays.

He has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea worth €9 million-a-year and the London giants will resume negotiations later this week with Napoli over a fee for the striker.

For the moment, Manchester City are the only club to have tabled a bid for Cavani this summer - €50 million - which was immediately thrown out by Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis.

Cavani's buyout clause is set at €63 million, but he believes ADL will sell for €60 million if Chelsea agree to play a money-spinning friendly as part of the deal.
