Napoli star Edinson Cavani has hailed teammate Edu Vargas after his hat-trick in midweek.

The young Chilean broke his duck in spectacular style after eight goalless months in Naples, and Cavani was quick to praise his fellow South American.

"Vargas' hat-trick was very important, it won us the game" El Matador told Radio Marte. "He deserves it."
