Napoli striker Edinson Cavani insists he's fit for Uruguay's Copa America final.
Azzurri president Aurelio De Laurentiis was furious at rumours the striker would be used in the semi-final after suffering a knee injury during the group phase.
"I feel able to contribute to the squad," insisted Cavani in newspaper Ovacion.
"Will I start? That is up to manager Oscar Washington Tabarez, but if he asks then I am ready.
"I have only just got my match fitness back, but I am not afraid of picking up another injury.
"This is the most important game of my life. I can enter the history of my country."
