The agent of Palermo striker Edison Cavani has revealed a bid from Manchester City was made in the summer.
Claudio Anelucci said: "(Palermo president) Maurizio Zamparini refused to consider selling him in the summer.
"Manchester City, before buying (Emmanuel) Adebayor, had offered €13 million for him, but Palermo refused: so for an assessment of the player you must ask Zamparini."
