PSG striker Edinson Cavani admits he's chasing down Zlatan Ibrahimovic's goalscoring record.

The Manchester United centre-forward is PSG's top scorer with 156 goals in 180 games. However, Cavani is closing on the record boasting 141 goals so far in his PSG career.

The Uruguay international said: "Ibrahimovic's record? It is normal that if you play to win, if you play as you give the maximum, as you go you will find goals that may not be important but in the end you see that you can become close, like now, to becoming the top scorer in the history of the club.

"But sincerely, the most important goal for me is to go out on the pitch, win with my team and raise the trophy at the end of the season."
